Duplication of the Dampier–Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline
Strategen was the lead environmental consultant on the Stage 5 duplication of the Dampier–Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline, involving approximately 1300 kilometres of pipeline laid immediately adjacent to the existing facility.
We secured State and Commonwealth environmental approvals and prepared a comprehensive Construction Environmental Management Plan, which satisfied the requirements of all relevant government agencies. The plan covered the management of 19 environmental factors, including fauna, flora, watercourses, acid sulphate soils and wetlands.
Strategen also conducted formal and informal environmental audits to ensure compliance with the full range of approvals during the first two phases of construction (approximately 1150 kilometres).
