Projects

Strategen coordinated and prepared all environmental assessment documentation on behalf of the Department of Health and Department of Housing and Works for the approval of the Fiona Stanley Hospital in Murdoch, Western Australia, and undertook community consultation to address concerns raised by the public.

The hospital is a major State government initiative to enhance the health care capacity of the Southern Metropolitan Region.  Its site comprised remnant native vegetation, as historically it was earmarked for conservation.

Strategen’s role in the project included environmental construction support to ensure compliance with State and Commonwealth approval conditions, conformance with environmental management plans prepared by Strategen, coordination of rehabilitation works in Beeliar Regional Park and onsite initiatives such as fauna translocation, salvage of plants for rehabilitation works, and reuse of topsoil in rehabilitation areas.
