10 Nov Have you factored in your ecological requirements for Spring?
Removing complexity to make growth and development happen.
It’s hard to believe that more than a month of Spring has already passed us by.
During this season there are a range of important ecological (flora, vegetation and fauna) considerations to take into account.
With the recent appointment of Zoologists Dr Ron Firth and Laura Stevens, Strategen is well positioned to assist in all aspects of ecological work.
To meet EPA requirements, the following surveys and assessments need to be undertaken during Spring:
- detailed flora and vegetation surveys
- targeted surveys for threatened orchid Caladenia huegelii, and a host of other threatened flora species
- assessments of vegetation to determine the presence of EPBC Act-listed Banksia Woodland Threatened Ecological Communities
- targeted frog surveys
- targeted reptile surveys
- migratory shorebird surveys.
