Strategen provided a comprehensive strategic analysis of environmental and approval requirements to identify project risks associated with upgrading the previously approved project to the ultimate design which considered complex legislative factors.
Strategen prepared, to challenging project timelines, an adapted Clearing Impact Assessment and Vegetation Management Plan to secure state approval of the disturbance areas.
Strategen also identified the need for a significant tree assessment and delivered this at short notice which successfully facilitated the agreement of DotE that the project need not be re-referred under the EPBC Act, thereby resulting in improved project efficiencies and reduced costs.
Strategen prepared the environmental impact assessment, environmental management planning and EPBC Act vegetation clearing approval for the duplication of Reid Highway over Mitchell Freeway between Duffy Road and Erindale Road.
Strategen undertook the assessment of the full range of environmental issues which included contaminated land and stakeholder engagement.
